ABOUT US
Lisa Lynn Charters is a fishing charter company based out of Nantucket Massachusetts. It is a business that sprung from the love of fishing and boats from a local Nantucket family. Jonathan Holdgate, the owner and captain of The Lisa Lynn, created this business in hopes to create the same love and passion that he has for the water to his surrounding community.
CHARTERS
2 1/2 hour
Our 2 ½ hour trip is geared toward beginner anglers of all ages. This trip is great for kids and anglers that may not want to travel too far from shore. Just 25 minutes from the dock provides ample fishing time. Bluefish are a staple of New England and provide a great fight and lots of action. This trip is offered multiple times per day depending on availability.
5 hour
Our 5-hour trips provide the time to target big striped bass on the famous Nantucket shoals, as well as great table fare fish like Black Sea bass and Fluke. 5-hour trips depart twice daily depending on tide and availability.
Tuna Fishing
Are you looking to catch the fish of a lifetime? Bluefin tuna off the shores of Nantucket range anywhere from 50 to over 1000 pounds! Our offshore tuna trips are 12 hours and can be a mixture of Tuna, Shark or ground fish including Cod, Haddock and Pollock. This trip is not only for the most serious of anglers but also for wildlife enthusiasts as we often see a variety of whales and dolphins.

OUR CREW
Captain Jon Holdgate
Jonathan Holdgate, The Lisa Lynn's captain, a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Transportation. He currently holds a 3rd Mates Unlimited license with a 100 tonnage captains license with tons of experience on the water. If he is not running the Lisa Lynn he is on the Tug boat COHO transporting asphalt from port to port.
Garrett Kelsey, is the newest member to the Lisa Lynn team. A Nantucket native, recent graduate of Plymouth State University and passionate fisherman. He brings experience to the team on the Lisa Lynn going into his 9th summer season working in the charter fishing industry on Nantucket. He holds a 6 pack Captains license from New England Maritime. We are excited to have him as part of the team.
